I have a domain name with cleverdot.com, only 6 days old mind you :-)
They are good, nice support. So far, so good.
(email forwarding feature only accepts catchall i think, but they
will perhaps upgrade that feature)
The looks is plain and simple, personnaly I prefer that than uggly godaddy.
reseller of OnlineNic.com

thanks again

I also do not prefer godaddy, use namecheap

but probably I will use them for the new domains and see the support ;)

I think cleverdot is cool, the features and general design is still somehow under development, but they are actively interested in knowing what their clients would like to see improved, added etc. So that is a good attitude :) I think they merit a try.
(They also do hosting at very good price)
Hope my links helped :)

Tons of features – You don’t get just a domain name when you register with us; you get a wide variety of features that come with it. Hostway’s domain name registration offers you domain name forwarding, secure Web-based control panel, nameserver management, renewal protection service and much more.

Yep..

I've looked around the site, I don't believe that there is. Sorry. :(

here is the answer I got from hostway

"If you have signed up for hosting or a domain name, you will be able to go inside SiteControl, select the Domain Name section, and then click on Transfer a Domain Name to Hostway. You also have the option of sending an e-mail to changetohostway@hostway.com to do the same procedure."

than we have to register a domain with them first, my next domain will be from them.

:D

Domsol.net has same looks as dnstop.com i mentionned ealier.
The support service is in Pakistan when the support service of dnstop is in Slovenia... and the prices are both in dollars... and these companies seem to be under us or canadian juridiction...
global village you bet.

I tested dnstop, it's a enom reseller so the features are great (same as namecheap) but, what i don't like at all is that they keep the credit card details online (in the account manager) and
you have to figure out how to disable the "autorenew" payment option! that is of course set by default! So they actually will try to renew the domains you got without your explicit green light...
tricky feature... beware folks.
(btw same comment for mydiscountdomain.com but even worse, because you'v got to click 10 times for trivial modifications, the whois info is not updated in whois...)

www.ovh.com is very good
www.bookmyname.com is not bad
www.gandi.net is serious business

who is hostway a reseller for?

does any of them that support the feature such as DNS control? or any particular worth mentioning?

I know that Godaddy.com has it, but their process is sooo... slow, loading page wise, I could visit the bathroom, come back with a cup of coffee in hand, and the page might still be half loading...

Cleverdot.com seems good, what about others?

My host doesn't update the DNS info, they need me to change them manually (via wherever I registered the domain name, ie. Godaddy.com's control center), just wonder if any of the registrars has such feature?

all i can say is that i don't intend to renew my domains
with dnstop.com or mydiscountdomain.com, because of the
autorenewal payment, a (tricky) feature that I hate.
for some cents less they could empty your credit card and YOU would have to prove that YOU are not a pink elephant...
Sneaky type of business attitude that i don´t intend to reward, so keep away from them (my advice)
As for the dns modifications (that i do not use... i use masked forwarding url) i believe that the registrars/resellers i mentionned all handle that, that is you could modify the dns name servers
by yourself in the account managers.
www.ovh.com and www.bookmyname or www.gandi.net seem
pretty serious registrars for excellent price (gandi a bit less perhaps). Cleverdot is promising, but needs some fixes, that should come (i hope). Namecheap is very good no doubt.
No sneaky autorewal stuff on those ones (i know first hand)

auto renewal feature could be nice if you have been asked for it before. but if you do this without asking first like Godaddy you lose fine customers like me

FaderFire hostway is a reseller of AAAQ.com. I registered a name with them, the service is fine but unfortunately the registration process is NOT AUTOMATIC. they do it with hand. so fine if you want to transfer or register a domain that's not urgent but if you want to get the domain immediately after drop, you must use a service like namecheap.com which I do.

Could it be hostway don't have a "domain transfer" option????
or did I miss it??
