big f*****g fish

add height="..." width="..." to all your image tags (means the browser knows how much room they take up before it loads them)

optimise your picures they take too long to load

also the home picture

can you have

M .....

A ....

D ....

bit in text not as a jpg this will make that image much smaller

exploits page different fonts and sizes looks silly

amused me thought

You need to adjust the width of the subjects (the bolded text) of each page you have 'em (like thismonth.html etc).

Oh, and please don't use the default font (Times New Roman) it's ugly. Never use Times New Roman. (You used Times New Roman at thismonth.html, all the other pages were fine.)

When I mouseover "Contact Us", the words expands so much it takes up two lines.

If you want to remove the link borders of the images, use this: <A href="bigfish.jpg"><IMG src="bigfishsm.jpg" border="0"></A>

Thanks for the feed back in reply I am with Angelfire I need to find another host any ideas, this is why it takes so long to load. All graphics have been optimized most are very small, apart from a couple. Changing the front page to text is an idea I have been thinking off (nice one, might make me do it) The problem is you cant have alot of tags on angelfire, Ive found if I dont put in body tags and certain others you can get rid of adverts!
Any way I expect you all know that, not that you would use angel fire, I just didnt know what else to use its my first web site.

Grrr and as for the width and height, I had done it, but hadnt updated it on my offline copy I uploaded new files yesterday based on the off line ones Ill have to sort that out. Thanks.

Apart from what was wrong did it look okay I mean it wasnt too hideous???

Thanks

Ali

Try Spaceports or Webhostme or F2s (A little Slow). You have a nice yet simple site... and I like it, as said previously the images could be optimized, however it is pretty good.

just found digitalrice.com, they seem pretty good give ya 25mb of space and no banners yet they allow cgi scripts! sound too good to be true?

Shall check out the ones you suggested, thanks for the comments :)

Nah, don't use Digitalrice... they own all the stuff you upload to their servers. They aren't all that reliable either. F2S is my fav. so far. Some say they're a bit slow, but they've always been fast for me.
