Blank Verse

OK, ----, so yeah, I just came back from the Ozzy show tonight. (Hey, I guess this is the latest of an ongoing review of the concerts I go to :confused2 ) It was a pretty -----in' show, let me tell you.
For an old guy, Ozzy can rock pretty hard. He's not incredibly mobile, but he seems to carry around a certain energy about him, it's just hard to describe. I think part of it is the energy supplied by his ----ing incredible band, now complete with Jason Newsted, of Metallica fame. But the key guy there is his guitarist, Zakk Wylde. Halfway through the set, everyone left the stage, except for Zakk, and he just went off on a 10 minute guitar solo, where he demonstrated the basics of being a rockstar, complete with Jimi Hendrix style playing the guitar behind his back, and playing the guitar with his teeth. Needless to say, that brought forth quite a reaction. Incidentally, I don't have much of a voice left right now.
OK, so I was expecting a lot of pyro and special effects and ----. And aside from some pretty cool lighting tricks, there were none. And I don't know, I kinda expected there to be some explosions and what have you, but I think it's cooler that there wasn't. Then you just gotta focus on the music (although occassionally my focus was drawn away because of the pretty ladies in the crowd :devious2: )
Ozzy still has it everybody. If this wasn't his last tour, then his next one will be, but even though he doesn't have much left, he can still rock with the best of them. Considering my ears are ringing, and I was well away from the stage, I can safely make the conclusion that Ozzy knows how to throw one hell of a show.

(ooh, wait, I forgot to mention one thing. Ok, so before the show, we stopped at my friend's apartment first, for a little BBQ, before we all headed in for the show. And as we were leaving, I glance over, and in the closet, I see this Viking hat from Halloween. For whatever reason, I thought it would be cool to where this at the concert. So I grabbed it, and off we went. Anywho, I'm in line with my friends, and I'm wearing the hat, and a guy and a girl from the Calgary Herald, one of the cities two big newspapers, saw the hat and came and interviewed me and my friend Kevin. It was great, the pictures are gonna be in the paper tomorrow, I'll see if I can grab a scanner and show you just how stupid I looked. :p )
