PHP is not supported (currently unavailable). The features you posted was the features BEFORE the server upgrade.

No, Digitalrice was around for longer than 3 months. Like maybe four months... :p

Their site says they have been up for 1 year! not counting the server upgrade downtime. Can't quote from the site though, site is down.

Maybe they have finally collected enough of their users' stuff (remember, they have the right to reproduce your stuff) and decided the time was ripe to close down...?

Just a wild guess.

Looks the same as ever to me. The free hosting page is still there at http://www.digitalrice.com/site/hosting.html

It's server maintenance season, apparently, so they're having a lot of downtimes these days. I'm hoping the instabilities let up soon, when they've worked out all the kinks. It's still up most of the time, and I'm (http://www.digitalrice.com/pau) happy with the service.

stsh

and their FTP server seems to be too slow too..... nothing seems to be working right here, ya, they got CGI-BIN, SQL....... but all is useless if it's that slow.... piece of junk....

FTP is fast for me but the server does get slow sometimes.

I'm using this host for 2 months and they often get down.

I often tought they've deleted my account but they haven't.

So I've use tools on http://www.1stwarning.com to see how often there were some crash or break and it's more than twice a day.

It's not reliable but it works great when it does
