SMS gateway

I want to add an sms service to a site I'm working on, therefore I am after one of the following

a) preferred option

an sms gateway that I can link into to send my stuff

know any?

b) least preferred option

set up my own (far too much work)

anyone know any resources around this?

simplewire.net allows development under their gateway..

they have kits for you to use with perl and java..

i've used their services for a little program i made that sends me my emails to my phone.. it wasn't very conveinent because messages more than 200 characters were put on multiple sms'..

free is hard to find.
but clickatel gives you this choice.
but too slow i think.
and simplewire.net i think do not allows to send sms to all countries.
maybe i am wrong.
