Fortunecity

Does anyone find that Fortunecity is really slow and unreliable? Whenever you try to logon/upload etc. it takes 5mins to do it or gives you a "Can't find server!"

The thing is, fortunecity has just enough space (ie 50mb) , a file manager and an FTP. If only someone could tell me an alternative which has no popups ( and is much faster and reliable) I will be very grateful.

I've just had another error 404. :-(

I thought fortunecity had 100 megs.

Anyway, if you only need 50 megs then you could try:

Or http://www.worldzone.net which has 100 megs with banners at the bottom of your site.

I'd have already gone with worldzone if they had FTP.

Most people believe it's only having pop ups, but it hasn't. You can put either links of pics (of your choice!)next to your ad banner at the top, which is even much slimmer than the one with Fortune City.

Worldzone has a file manager.

Anyone tried 50megs.com? It's very fast with ftp and file manager but there seem to be loads of things wrong with it!!! My file manager displays all my files on the same screen despite being in different folders.

The people who do support do it voluntarily (?) so it's not easy.

Anyone experienced similar problems?
