Anyone else looking forward to Warped this year, or even planning on going for that matter?
I got my cash set aside... hopefully getting my ticket soon. Gonna have to get my --- down to Boston next month.
Bands I'm really looking forward too (in no particular order):
The Ataris
Dropkick Murphys
Rancid
The Used
Mest
Thrice
Pennywise
Less than Jake
Mad Caddies
Poison the Well
Me First and the Gimme Gimmes
Though I'm sure the rest will be good as well. Hopefully the weather is good...

Yeah I'm going, again. Last year was kind of crappier than the year before. Hopefully that trend wont continue. I didnt check on the entire list but out of your list:
The Ataris - ehh - seen em twice, don't like their new album which is what they will probably play
Dropkick Murphys - yes - good stuff
Rancid - yes - no explanation needed
The Used - no - don't like them
Mest - no - don't like them either
Thrice - ehh - don't know, i hear they're good, guess i'll find out
Pennywise - yes - once again, explanation not needed
Less than Jake - yes - these guys are hilarious "Where are we at? Oh yeah, Vagina beach!"
Mad Caddies - yes - good stuff
Poison the Well - ehh - don't know, will find out
Me First and the Gimme Gimmes - yes - any band that has/had an on-stage bar is cool by me
And what's this about "setting aside cash"? It's like $20. Get a job and quit 4 hours later. Unless you need money for a ride... Work for two days and quit :p.
You can do one of three things when it comes to warped tour:
1) take a bag: get tons of free ----, miss out on moshing.
2) don't take a bag: have fun moshing miss out on free ----.
3) take a bag: get tons of free ----, loose it all while trying to mosh

If you don't like The Used, chances are you won't like Poison the Well either. They're pretty much another hardcore/screamo band.

Too bad I miss out on AFI though.

And you miss out on Pennywise assuming you're going to the VA show.

I'm very disappointed in the Warped Tour this year. Any time a punk show invites Andrew W.K. to be on the bill, you know something's wrong. The only bands I'd really be willing to see would be Rancid, Pennywise (both who I've seen play before), and the Dropkick Murphys. The Mad Caddies aren't even doing the Calgary show. What a rip off. Especially when you consider what a great lineup they've had every year prior to this.

Well this will be my first Warped Tour... wasn't a punk fan during any of the others.
I have a chance to go to this or hang around here for some small folk/bluegrass thing.... I think I'm going south. ;)
Me and a bunch of friends are supposed to be car-pooling down there.

Bruce, same story here. I'm going, first year.
Pennywise and Me First are skipping the atlanta show, I'm so pissed. Hopefully Rancid, less than jake, and dropkick will make up for it. I'm also looking forward to Mad Caddies. Also, I hope I'll see some new acts who I might really like

Yeah, I am more than likely going to go to Warped '03 in Vancouver.
Only wanna see a few bands though, Dropkick Murphy's, Glassjaw, and Pennywise.
If I don't have the money in time I'll just go to the local ska fest which is a pretty big event, many bands. Plus 'The Slackers' will be playing which is awesome.

I think that about sums it all up to the normal outcome: I go to see around 10 bands. Discover one or two I like that I didn't know about. Fight heat stroke with water, lots of water, while all the crap bands play.

Damn. Oh well, I'd probably pick AFI over Pennywise anyway. Don't get me wrong, Pennywise is great. I've seen both bands live once already, but I think I'd rather see AFI again before Pennywise if I had to pick.

I just picked up the Warped Tour 2003 Compilation today. 2 CDs, about 3 hours of music, and only $5. Sounds good to me... it also gave me a nice, albeit short, introduction to most of the bands doing Warped this year I've never heard of. I know you shouldn't judge a band based on 1 or 2 songs, but it's still nice to get an idea what they're all about.
If you have a few extra bucks, this is something worth picking up in my opinion.

I will not be attending this years warped tour unless I just happen to get that day off and some chick wants me to take her.
No Bad Religion, and Pennywise is skipping any show within driving distance for me.
I've seen AFI before, and they played "A Single Second", and that was all I needed.
Rancid I would want to see, but not enough to go.
I like the new Ataris album, but that might be because I am getting a little older and I see my musical taste getting a little more mature.
Right now I am really digging Spacehog "The Chinese Album" and Propagandhi's "Today's Empires, Tommorow's Ashes"

I kinda want to see what the guys in Brand New look like. I've only heard their CD because a friend gave it to me. They're music isn't even really that great, but I think it's some of the funniest emo that I've ever heard...
"I hope the next boy that you kiss has something terribly contagious on his lips"
and my favorite:
"It's girls like you that make me think I'm better off home on a Saturday night with all my doors locked up tight."
Even though it isn't intended, I find their CD hilarious.
