all i need is an ad-free webhost with 35+ mb. i checked the faq, but theres only a few there. any ideas?

www.brinkster.com has 30mb, if that would do (no ads)

brinkster dont offer ftp :( i have about 700 files :rolleyes:

I've always found www.fateback.com to offer a good service. No ads and 60mb of space. Oh, and yes, they do offer FTP, and domain hosting.

Oh, i didnt know you needed ftp, you didn't post in your request.

I wouldn't suggest fateback. The speeds have gotten to be extremely slow lately.

well, when I signed up a few yrs ago, i had to put textlinks. they changed the rules now. i didn't say textlinks bad. i was just giving him the info. :rolleyes:

You must have changed since 2 weeks ago, because two weeks ago I got 2 pop-unders(or ups, can't remember) from a couple of your hosted pages.

What site did you go to?
Remember the webmaster of the site could have added his own popups

1. What is going on with your server...........it is down most of the time these days???? Please clarify.
2. And of late when I open my site (hosted at host ultra) I often get as many as 12 pop unders!!!!!!!!!!! not one

No, i do not. i have a firewall and run adware 6 every week, usually picking up only 20 or so files, all usually cookies. My firewall prevents all adware from connecting to the internet. Now, i never get any pop-ups at any other website. I just went to my website, hosted on hostultra, and got two pop-ups. They were not added by myself
