just like i open a abc.mydomain.com, i want it to redirect to ftp://192.168.0.1, like some dns redirect service, so that i can use my domain to have an ftp sub-domain name:)

You can use one like zoneedit or mydomain

or u can setup the index page for the subdomain with a page redirect to the IP address

No, you don't want to redirect it there. Because everyone has that IP.:rolleyes:

I'd setup an account and point the domain to afraid.org, then you can direct the nameservers for the default domain address to wherever they are set now, and setup a subdomain pointing to a seperate IP

You can probally do the same at mydomain.com
