Has anyone in the US seen this [not out in the AU yet]?
It has to be one-of-the-best-ever movies!!

every time I've heard about Finding Nemo, I've heard good things.
It's not really my type of show, though. In fact I dont think a good show has passed through the theaters in a while
I got dragged to Hulk last night. It was ok. popcorn is rediculously expensive.

I usually never see disney movies, but Finding Nemo was pretty hilarious. I laughed my as.s off. great animation too.. the turtle was pretty funny..
If anyone is embarrased in seeing a disney movie and being surrounded by little kids, just remember that it's a PIXAR movie.. :cool2:

If your shy, the best advice I can give is to grab your little sis/bro or cousin or your neighboor's lil kid :p

I don't know. I think with movies like that, there's no need to feel shy about going, cause I've never heard anybody say that it'd be stupid to see a "kids" movie such as the Pixar movies. I know people older than me that consider Toy Story to be their favourite movie.

And never forget Shrek, even though it's Dreamworks (think Road to El Dorado) it's a little more mature, but there isn't an adult I know who's seen it that'd be embarassed to see it again in a theatre full of kids.

I'm not ashamed to say I bought Shrek when it came out on DVD...

I figured it was a little more mature than advertised, when Shrek said "I'm saving my ---, that's what!"

Shrek was popular among adults because it was the 1st 3d cartoon movie that featured known adult voiced. diaz, murphy and some more
And its a very good movie :)
I'd have to say its better then nemo

Nitpick: the line was "Well I've gotta save my ---" ;)
There were a few things with language, and a few that younger kids just wouldn't get. Like when they get to Farquad's castle, and Shrek says "Do you think he's compensating for something?"

Shrek rules.
the winter after it came out I was at a local ski hill and Shrek enabled me to pick up chicks.
I brought up that little "muffin man" part at the right moment.

My buddy used to work at a movie theatre, just a locally owned one, nothing like Famous Players or nothing like that, and he got along with his boss so well that he was able to take the life sized cutout of Shrek home after the movie was finished playing there. It's kinda cool walking into his house and seeing a 6 foot 3 Shrek looking at you.

I went to go see it but my two year would cry anytime we tried to go into the dark theatre..
That was a good $30+..

I don't know what it is about Shrek, but I didn't really like it all that much. And Toy Story had famous actors doing the voices...it was Tim Allen and Tom Hanks I believe...?
I like animation...I would have no objection going to a movie like Finding Nemo. There is a lot of crap movies out there, so it would be worth going to see it rather than something else.

I saw it... it was suprisingly good. Not really great, but better then I thought it was gonna be since I had low standards for it.

Brad Garrett; the voice of Bloat, was also the voice of Dim in A Bug's Life!
also when watching the movie, watch out for other things.. (I'll try not to give away too much)...
- a Buzz Lightyear doll
- the yellow Pixar ball with a star on it
- "doo dah" on one of the fishing boats
- Pizza Planet truck
- also some cameos from upcoming movies Incredibles and Cars -- I didn't see these either
- Also on one of the boats in the harbor it says "The Surly Mermaid"
- Eric Bana, voices Anchor the shark
- Rove is a voice in it [didnt spot which one]
- You can hear Mickey for about 2 secs
- The little seahorse, Sheldon, is voiced by the kid who is Dewey on Malcolm in the Middle.
- In the scene where Nigel flies into the dentist office and meets Nemo for the first time, when the dentist runs to shoo him away, in that wide shot of the office, there's a fish mobile hanging from the ceiling. That's the same mobile from Boo's room in Monsters Inc!

I thought Finding Nemo sucked. The plot was half-baked and was drawn out too long without enough unique eliments. The animation was pretty good though, but I expected a better story.

Incorrect. The pamphlet available in Australian cinemas says Rove is in it, but he isn't. My date and I watched the credits for his name because we couldn't spot his character, either - he's not in it. It's a misprint on the pamphlet.
Finding Nemo rocked!!!

I didn't know anybody actually still watched Rove. Well, he's either not in the credits or we missed him. ^_^
