I use dreamweaver to create webpages and today I was making a site and I couldn't preview it or save it. When I save it I just get a blank white page with nothing on it same when I preview. Anyone got a clue about what might be the problem??

Award for stupidest response ever anyone?

Is anything showing in the "code" view? Sometimes if you add some strange code, it'll screw things up. You could try editing the saved document in Notepad to see what the problem is.

If that doesn't help, assume DMX screwed up and just re-do it... :confused2

Re-formatting your machine won't make the blindest bit of difference though.

I know formating isn't the answer but I tried looking at the source code and everything is perfect exept when I preview it or save it and see it in a browser it doesn't show anything.

Dreamweaver can be crap sometimes. I'm a fan of writing everything in Notepad, but something you just HAVE to use Dreamweaver to make stuff easily accessible and understandable to everyone, not just you. It does seem to go a tad loco sometimes and just screw everything up... :confused2

Anyhow, looks through your code from TOP TO BOTTOM, there might be a tiny little tag that's just causing havock. You could also try opening the page in another webdesign program; it might spot some problems which DMX is missing?

Dreamweaver seems to go to hell with SSI. Take out any SSI tags if they're part of your code. As for not being able to save it, i have no clue.
