Here is a list of what I need:
free unlimited webspace
reasonable speed
no banners or pop-up although text-links are OK
I know providers like this are hard to come by and I would appreciate your help if you know one. Please only reply if you have a link to supply me with, and don't clutter up the thread with posts like "good luck finding that" etc.

sealteamsix.com - unlimited space, textlink on the bottom of every page, somewhat speedy(but not the fastest)
You could try this new russoweb.com (no ads) but it's headed by this 14 year old and will most likely die

*lol* You make it sound like the kid's dying or something... :p

Just because it is run by a 14-year-old, doesn't mean it will die. I started NetCabins as a 14-year-old and although we've been down for a couple of months, we are not dead. NetCabins will be back up in a couple of weeks, this time run by a 15-year-old. :)
If I can do it, just about anyone can.

But that's the difference, see? You (seem to :p) look very experienced at this kinda stuff, but russoweb doesn't. You also make it look professional. russoweb doesn't.

A year ago (or was it 2 years?) when it all started, I didn't know too much, and I wasn't too professional. Those who've been at this board for a real long time would remember when I hyped it all up and then ended up starting off Wigloo.com cobranding. I knew the basics about USING a free host but in fact I knew almost nothing about running them. I thought I knew everything. Russo at age 14 knows a lot more than I did at that age. Give him a chance and things might work out if he doesn't give up early.

Know what? I'll bet if nobody knew that Russo was only 13/14, a lot of people would be signing up.

I got a lot of members as a 15-year-old though. Outside of freewebspace.net and a banner exchange, I did zero promotion however we got about 40-100 signups per day consistently until we had our problems.
