message board...

I am really looking for a message board that is like http://www.voy.com and their message boards. I don't want another UBB clone, because I don't want different forums.

I just want a perl message board that post the entire first message of a thread on the main page for the board, and the replies to that as links underneath that message.

An example of what I want is http://www.voy.com/98 altohugh somebosy messed up the html, and the bottom half looks all big and stuff.

Does anybody know of a script like this? Or am I stuck with wwwboard?

I have been to getscripts.com, cgi-resources.com and all kinds of script sites scouring for a script like that. I have found none. If there are so many, I dare you to point me to one.

I don't know, maybe english isn't your first language, or maybe you are retarded or something, but had you read my FIRST post I said I am looking for a message board that does something particular.

I do not want a UBB clone, no multiple forums, users, email notification. None of that.

I do not want another wwwboard, where each message and reply is hidden behind a link.

What am looking for is message board that displays the first message of a thread on the main page, and all of the replies to that are links below it. AN EXAMPLE OF WHAT I WANT AND AM LOOKING FOR IS http://www.voy.com/15899/ . If you are going to suggest a messge board that is like the ones I said I don't want, don't bother.

I am begining to think that their aren't any like that. But for some reason people say they exist, without pointing to a single one.

Also, I have been through that resource index catagory many times, and there is not a board like the one I am talking about.

I've been looking for the same type of messageboard, and haven't found one yet. I want it for a group of computer-iliterate people that had only used InsideTheWeb's messageboard; but that shut down.

The closest I have found to this layout is a mod. of the WWWboard. The start of the thread is a link and then all of the replies are listed on one page with the starting thread... a clean and simple board without all the links and signing up of the UBB and clones. http://www.dcscripts.com/otherscripts.shtml (I know u said you didn't want a WWWboard, but this mod is the closest I've found)

Thanks, i actually used that script for a while, it's good but not exaclty what I am looking for. I think that the Dbasic's addon's for wwwboard let you do that, because I know of a site that has a message board like that, and it's called a wwwboard. I am going to see if I can get any info from them about it....
