Anyone bought a .tk?

It wasn't exactly my first choice, but the the com/net/org/info/cc/ws versions are all taken.

So has anyone bought a tk? Any problems/thoughts?

I can't say i've ever considered one myself, but i don't see any difference really, the only thing that might put me off is that they have the "free redirect" badge sort of stuck to them, many people that see your domain name would assume that you just have a free redirect.

Weither that would affect your site or not i don't know.

One thing though, i think they charge $9.95 p/year to register the domain? but a little while ago i got an email from .tk for one i used to have ages ago, to say that it had not recieved x amount of traffic in 90 days and would soon be deleted, but that i could fully register the domain for $6.95 so i'm sure you could get that price from the outset if you try ;)

Is the .biz taken also?

I've recnetly bought a domain name www.arnaud.tk to get dns control. I think it's quite cheap ( 10 $ for 2 years ) and everything works well
I took this domain because most of the top level with arnaud were taken ( arnaud.com, arnaud.net .....
