Domain renew questions

Hi,

Questions about the domain renew.

Right now I have a domain with NSI and it expires in 10/2001. If I request to transfer the domain to any opensrs powered registrar now for one year, does my domain expire on 10/2002, or 04/2002?

Or maybe the new registrar automatically transfer the domain to its own system after 10/2001?

You would get a year (or however much you sign up for at your new registrar), *plus* whatever time you had left.

Chicken is 100% correct.

It's very important to note that YOU WILL NOT LOSE A SINGLE DAY from your existing registration when you transfer.

HOWEVER, your total domain registration period cannot exceed ten years. That's the limit, and there's no way around it.

Your transfer will be denied if:

1. The domain was registered or transferred less than 60 days ago.
2. The domain is ON HOLD.
3. Your current registrar has the domain locked for non-payment or other reasons.
4. The domain is expired, or will expire within 4 days.
