My onboard USB is broken, so I got a USB card.
Pin arrangement on the card - x means there's nothing there:

Holes on the line (faced toward you) - x means it's sealed:

To this point, everything was okay. But...
Pin arrangement of the USB Connector on the motherboard - x means there's nothing there:

It was the most frustrating thing in the world. Everything else was perfect. So, what did I do? I got out a needle-like tool and a lighter, and melt a hole in the originally sealed off jack on the line, so that now all the holes are open, and I can ----ing plug the damn line in.
And to my surprise, it works. It's functional. So far, no problems at all.
