http://www.cooltext.com is working for me right now. Maybe it was just brief downtime when you tried it before.

word, I couldn't get to the site for about a week. It is all good now.

I do beleive cooltext was up before flamingtext, and I think even before webgfx

They were up way before either... I remember them, used them for my first site about two years or so ago.

I created my own logo when I created my first website... It was called PokéNet, it's still one of my best sites...

oh wow see mine was 5 years ago and i used paint for some of the logos, it was a southpark site

I got a newsletter a couple of weeks ago saying that they were adding some new features.
For my first page I used cooltext, i used it on my curent site at http://www.chris696.com . And yes cooltext has been up longer than flaming text and webgfx.
Actually whats up with webgfx they havent updated anything in about 5 months, there links page is outdated.
