Hi I run a DC Hub you can read on what it is here:
www.neo-modus.com
It takes up about 1mb bandwidth every 2 or 3 days.Right now I run the hub on my computer and it's nice and dandy but it takes up some of my RAM which I only have 128mb of and I'm a very busy computer user. The Hub restarts several times a day and the users are getting annoyed. So I'm looking for a host for this Hub the software is about 2 mb total(2 programs need to be installed). It has to be on a windows server and I need to be able to run programs from it or if I don't have persmission to do so I'll let the admin do it.But anyway I would really like to get a good host for this.If needed I will pay but 2mb space and 30mb b/w how much could that be?

Thanks!

Oh and the fles shared on the hub are all legal no worries:-)

First off, no host is going to run a app on there server just for you lol, 2ed its even more unlikely to find a windows host....

1st of all, i don't think that someone will host you a p2p networking app...sharing warez is not something legal
2nd, i must advice you to get a QUICK PC and try to use one of the free DNS web-sites (as for example DynDNS), as you probably saw that almost all the hubs have a *.no-ip.com, *.homeip.net etc domain...It might be your only way to create a personal HUB.
- my opinion

The HUB is running off my pc wiht no-ip.com as it is.The network is very small only 14 users atm with a max of 40 users(I doubt that will happen). And We are NOT sharing warez!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I clearly said in the first post it's all legal.

I also used to run a DC hub, no web host will host that, trust me, you aint gonna find a host for that sort of thing unless you buy a dedicated server. Just run it from your comp with less scripts, scripts slow it down a LOT when you start to get enough users.

From my experience running a DC hub doesn't take up hardly any resources. Mine started to get sluggish when over 1000 people joined, but that's mainly because I have a DSL connection. It takes about 30MB of my ram and 3% CPU.

Other than what I already suggested, you might wanna think about asking some of your hub users, surely one of them would be willing to host the hub for you?
