What do i do with this error

Ok just reformatted, and put in XP Pro, I went to go setup my internet connection (Bell High Speed) and when it goes to connect to make sure it is working properly I am getting this error:

Error 711: A Configuration error on this Computer is preventing this connection. For further assistance, click more info or search help and support center for this error number

well i have checked out the search/support center and it doesnt work...What does this error mean and what do I need to do to it to allow me to have the internet on the damn pc? errrr

ok i did what it said, than i was gonna follow the steps for the REMOTE ACCESS CONNECTION MANAGER but i get ERROR: 5.
and when i try to start the REMOTE ACCESS AUTO CONNECTION MANAGER i get ERROR: 1068.
i searched Microsoft support, but cant find ti, this is pissing me off

thx for ur help, I just reinstalled it, and this time got no errors, im all setup and good to go
