i'm thinking about trying mydomain.com
just register your domain there, or transfer your domain there and then you can point your domain to any free host you wish to use. sounds easy.
does anyone have experience with mydomain.com?

Well yeah kinda. But its like a control panel for your DNS servers. I dont like to use it tho, because I want DOMAIN hosting. mydomain.com is like a domain redirection. And it's pointless having a .net or a .org or a .com if your just gonna redirect with it. Because then you cant have http://www.yourdomain.com/acertainpage. It shows your http://www.yourdomain.com in the address bar at all times. And it's a waste of money if so. Feeeeew.
