I`m looking for domain hosting, I dont need much disk space about - 5 meg will do, it would be nice with as much bandwidth as possible though and NO ads of any kind, oh and FTP too, does anyone know of a host offering this that is reliable!

Thx Dean

What do you want the space for and how much bandwidth do you require?

Hi Dominan

I`ve co-branded with a company and have a sub-domain at the moment, my idea for now is to run my new domain name to a framed page holding my site logo and the site content too, so really I dont need much space and as for bandwidth I`m not sure until visitors start coming in, so for now I don`t need a great deal but this could change and as sales go up I will be looking into white label and needing a payed host, heres my site - http://expressive.fonetasticmobile.co.uk

You are running a business from your site, why are you even looking for a free host, can you seriously not afford a few dollars a month?

I don't believe that you've never made a single sale or that it didn't cost you a penny to set your site up in the first place.

Hi Loon, The site above has been setup for me as a co branded site which was free due to been on their database from a site I used to have, I`ve had many sites before and put alot of money into them only to see them close for their own reasons, when this came up a few days ago I took it and thought this time I will start off with a free host to hold a domain name and a few pages, I`ve not yet advertised my site not until I have things setup the way I want them, this isn`t a case of money coming in and being tight, its a case of keeping cost down this time until I know its going somewhere thus looking for a free host for the domain name until things start to pick up then I will go for a payed host, before I`ve rushed into sites I`ve built and payed out for scripts, hosting and so on, anyway I`ve found a host now and would like to thank you for your comments.

Thanks again Matrix :) I found this site - http://www.web1000.com and they cater for what I need right now!, signup was fast and their email setup came through straight away, I`ve now set my domain pointers and have to wait while they go through the network, so far so good :)

What a joke, after joining the above I pointed my domain and waited, then found that my domain was pointing to their site homepage, I emailed them about this asking them to look into it, this was yesterday morning, I heard sod all back, it goes to show you...pay for hosting and you get what you want, if its free you suffer in silence...lol, I decided to sign-up to Myacen Network, they are great so far, and IMHO their servers are fast, there you go then I thought I would update this thread and let you guys know what was happening. :)

Good luck with your new host.
