This is driving me INSANE!

Everytime I type a URL into my browser and press enter it takes me to Yahoo search where I have to click on the link from the search results. I can't turn it off. I don't know what to do!! Help! this is driving me nuts! How can I make it so it takes me to the page instead of a search page?

first try going to INTERNET OPTIONS -> ADVANCED -> scroll down to the search section and pick the last option (it say something like "go to most likely site")

if that dont work then:
START -> RUN -> "regedit" -> HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\SearchUrl
set "(Default)" to nothing (i went to this location in my registry and its empty for me)
