Hi
This is my first post in the paid hosting forum. I came across this site in the freewebspace forum http://www.directoris.com. They are offering 250 MB with all the other regular stuff(PHP,CGI etc) for $14 lifetime. It's an inaugaral offer till 21st June(i'am not sure abt the date). I emailed them, here is the reply
Hello,
> I would like to get straight to the point and ask you why are you
giving away 250 MB of space for $14?
- Marketing plan.
> And can i host multiple domains?
- 1 account = 1 domain. And the offer is $14 per account.
> Also if i'am allowed to host only one domain, can i change the domain
to be hosted after i have signed up?
- If you open an account to host your domain name and, later on, you wish to
change your domain to another one then yes, it's possible to do it for free.
I must say they were prompt in there reply. When i checked out the email headers, i found out they had sent their mail through connectfree.net - which incidently is a free ISP in the UK.
I have absolutely no experiences with paid hosting, so I would like you people to comment.
