View Full Version : the Java Virtual Machine file - where to get?

hi
after trying to upload using the 'Java Virtual Machine'

I GOT THIS ERROR MESSAGE -

Applet Uploader Not Loading ? [re file - msjavx86.exe]
To be able to use the applet uploader you will need to have the Microsoft Java Virtual Machine installed on your computer, if you do not have it installed the applet uploader will not work !

1. SO HOW CAN I FIND OUT IF I HAVE THIS FILE CALLED msjavx86.exe ON MY PC SOME WHERE ALREADY, WHICH DOES WHAT I NEED, BUT ISNT INSTALLED OR ACTIVATED SOME HOW ..?

2. OR IF ITS ON MY WINDOWS-98 CDROM - WHICH CAB FILE IS IT IN?

PS - I CANT DOWNLOAD IT AS IT'LL TAKE 25 MINUTES !

I download things that take several hours, 25 min is nothing!! :rolleyes:

ps - is the upload applet quicker transfering many files than by ftp?
