Anyone know of a good program for blocking pop up ads that is free and works well?

Yep. Google Toolbar works great if you don't want to switch browsers. Just check out that topic that the person above linked you to.

I had the old google toolber and I don't think it blocked. Thanks for the info and sorry for missing the previous post, haven't been on for awile.

Yep. It's a new feature they came out with just now. Google Toolbar 2.0 DOES block popups.

Mozilla (http://www.mozilla.org/) based browser or Opera (http://www.opera.com/) are good choises.

I use an IE browser called MyIE2 http://www.myie2.com/html_en/home.htm

Has Tabs, which I LOVE...and a built in Pop UP blocker.

Really, it feels the same as IE, but with tabs. Check it out.

I use Pop-Up Stopper Companion. It's not free, but the reason I use it is:

It was the best one on the market at the time and still IMO Is
It allows me to empty my history/cache/cookies with a click or a button or when I close my IE Browser
It allows me to "save" cookies... for example, FWS/HHO/WHT.. I never have to "relog" in.. but I can also delete the cookies I don't...
I already paid for it, might as well use it.
Does the job right.
