[feedback]The problem with many of these free providers

Everyone is trying to look for php and mysql hosts for free, so once we find one, we have to apply via forum. Ok, that's fine not a big hassle. Then you read the application and what you have to have in it, everything is fine until you see "current site url for review".

So you ask, what's the problem with this? The problem is, we have nowhere to host are sites so you can take a look at them, that's why we're applying at your site in the first place. Sure, you don't want to host unclean sites, but at least give the users a chance first, see how the site's doing, if it sucks, get rid of it.

Use http://www.tripod.lycos.co.uk for a temporary host. They have a massively ugly ad frame but, it shouldn't interfere with your scripts.

As for hosts needing to review your site, if we allowed everyone in and then sorted it out. God only knows who would do what in our systems.

Well obviously what you said is a good point and i know i posted this in the wrong forum but it is a real pain. I guess you're right about lycos though.
