Hello. I am looking for a SHOUTcast or SHOUTcast-like host server. My annual budget is about $45-$50 USD. I would like 96k or 128k bitrate, 40-50 listener max. The only host i know of atm is exaltedhosting.net but their server was down for a month because of bandwidth and cpu overload. Please make any offers or suggestions.

well we are not in the shoutcast business but to my knowledge a shoutcast server to what your talking about costs around 50$/month, I dont think you will find it anywhere for 50/year.

if you find some place that does offer at that price let us know.

wont find it for that cheap. I reccommend these guys:

been with them for almost a year now. Quality servers, last couple months have been 100% uptime.

Go here for a full list of stream hosts:

They charge Per Month, not Per Year.

every streaming host I've seen will list monthly charges. I'm sure you can pay by year if you want.

well if it is $50+ per month then it seems expensive enough to invest into. i think i am going to go with audiorealm.com

Audiorealm doesnt come cheap either:

24 kb/s $0.95
32 kb/s $1.30
56 kb/s $2.20
64 kb/s $2.50
96 kb/s $3.50
128 kb/s $4.25

A 50 listener 128kbps server will cost you $212/month. What is the maximum you want to spend per month? If your willing to shell out $50/month, I can probably get you a 50-75 listener server @ 128kbps. That's more than 4 times less the cost of audiorealm.
