Seems too good to be true!
Selling Transfer that cheaply means that they are loosing money, so my bet would be that they will disappear in a couple of months.

So other than that what is the cheapest provider with similar specifications?
Trel

Selling to you at cost I could do..
100 MB storage
15 GB data transfer
All the goodies..
7.50 a month
I don't sell hosting and you can see why.
You just can't compete with companies giving 1 GB of storage and 40 GB of data transfer for 7.88 a month.
Just my two cents. :D

Their Free Hosting Went Down The Gutter (And Its no wonder why) But I guess Im hopelessly praying their paid hosting will last. I guess the worst thing that could happen is I lose 5$ lol.
But Seriously, whats the best thing I could get with like 15$ a year that will actually stay online for a long time and is truly reliable?

for $15/year? are you seriously looking for a host that offers this type of plan and be reliable?
striker

ur basic plan sounds OK @ only 30$/year.... Just wondering if I COULD find something cheaper in the interest of saving money.

$15 dollar's a year for a host basically means $1 a month and that leaves no room for profit

The only plan I have that falls in that range is:
S-30
30MB disk space
600MB transfer
14 day trial
unlimited e-mail addresses
unlimited MySQL
PHP
CGI
Frontpage extensions
etc...
$.99/month or $7.99/year

This is off our dedicated server and not from a reseller plan.

I dont think they thought through their plans right...
Get 4 of those small plans (20 dollars a year) and you'll have one of those big plans (150 a year)

They don't seem to have any idea about security as they have logins for live cPanel accounts on the site.
Of course it says "don't change the passwords" but, as you can expect it looks like somebody has lol
If you're seriously considering them, you should do some research on webhostingtalk.com for web-xperts.com as that's who they re-sell for.

Theyve given an explanation for why they are so cheap. The free hosting is suspended and the Demo CPanels are taken down as well. Im gonna try them probably and if I dont find theyre good Ill probably go with bluetek. Whats 5$ anyways?

The people that run it probally have the best intentions, and may even have great support, it's just that web-xperts have a very bad reputation for the way they treat their resellers, often pulling the plug on them, but, i wish you all the best :)
I'm interested in what the explaination was though.

Stumbled onto their forums by luck (just added /forums) and they said:
How can you offer so much at such a low price.
Iamyourhost.com is reseller of hosting. This means that we purchase webspace and bandwidth from a datacenter and sell it to people who want hosting.
We recieve a great deal from our datacenter and pass the savings on to our clients.
Futhermore, we also have some limitations to our hosting services that also add to your savings.
One of the biggest limitations is that we don't have our own merchant account. This causes some problems but keeps our overhead costs down.
I dont really get it but "ok".

Hmm merchant accounts cost $30/mo. and your money gets deposited every 2 days.
I think the reason they don't have a merchant account is because they are not a registered company.

I use them like a backup of my site, so I get the subdomain: http://www.thiago.iamyourhost.com .
My domain http://joguinhos.com is hosted in Brazil, in a Brazilian host. Iamyourhost is my international mirror.;)
