I've got a great deal with my sponsor, he's willing to give m e a lot of webspace, many bandwith and the best of all, NO BANNERS !!!
The server supports ASP and CGI (and some other) !
Here comes the question :
Is it possible to give a person FTP acces (upload & download) to ONE directory only ??? And how ???
If not, does there exist a script where it is possible for a user to upload a a html page directly to the server ???
thanks in advantage

That is posible, just give the user only permisions for that dir.

Those exist, just look at http://cgi.resourceindex.com and http://php.resourceindex.com

CHMOD it like that, or set it in the FTP server. I know how to do that. Verry easy with War-FTPd, if it has windows (and I think it is, ASP).

On the server, you can run an FTP server (War-FTPd). I there you can create users and assign permisions for uploading files to users. That way the user logs in and only gets to see his upload dir. Get it now? If not download war-ftpd and try it out on your home comp. URL: http://support.jgaa.com/index.php?cmd=DownloadVersion&ID=37

Now I got it, but I don't think they allow me to run my own ftp server, isn't there another way ?

I posted this thread here because I think that you can find a solution with CGI ...
