Does there exist a scipt (don't care what language), where I can unzip a zip file on my server ???
(So I can upload the zip, and extract it on my sever)
Does it work with password protected zip's ???

I don't get the use of that, but if you got telnet acces, it should work.

Yeah, depending on if you have it installed:

unzip <filename>

But if you want to do it inside a perl script check CPAN. There are some modules that do this for you. I don't know about password protection.

I am no expert on this but...

Tar is the unix equivalent to zipping. A file is usually tarred and gzipped, so all of those files you see that end with .tar.g are files that are tarred and gzipped. Sometimes they might just be tarred (.tar) or just gzipped (.g)

This is probably to no help at all. But I remember I've seen a host that did that. You could upload a zip and unzip it on the server through the file manager. Must have been a script that did that, right?

Maybe this is some kind of mass hysteria going on but... I seem to remember a FWP that did that now too. Like it's somewhere in the back of my mind... Damn! I can't remember.

*lol* Actually I think I may be able to find it. I'll look. If I remember right...it was French, but the page was in English. Later they expanded so you were redirected to a local page in your native lingo. Ring a bell? I'll search my old files. ;)

eccentrica.org & it's other domains(volare.net, mailsync.org, manifest-angel.com, indiano.org, neoagent.net) used to use a script that did that. If I remember right, redrival did too, when they very first began.
