Free Web Community

Are there any other free web communities out there other than: community architect portland megagiga/wigloo. I wanted a service like excelland.com offered. Where it is not necessary to have a domain name. I have a domain but I don't want my sites hosted off of it. Anyone know any other place?

Well like excelland they offered their host to host the community and gave free sub domains. Something like that. Or at least something that my domain doesnt have to do with.
