hi guys,
I am having a bit of trouble.
I want to enable PSD file uploads, but it won't let me.
Here is part of the code which makes it allow specific file types:
$acceptable_file_types = "image/gif|image/jpeg|image/pjpeg|image/BMP|";
I tried adding:
|psd
|PSD
|image/PSD
|image/psd
|file/PSD
|file/psd

none of them worked, so how can I enable PSD file types?

It is strange that you can't get the .PSD to work. However, I wouldn't worry much as people rarely use .psd and upload it to the web on such a service. Also, I think you should try and delete only unused pics every 5 days as opposed to the whole lot. Just a sugg. though.

Lets see if this offer actually stays up unlike the others!

at the current rate, only 5mb is used out of a total of 100mb that I allocated to it.
Amik is really picking up right now, I got lots of people supporting me and 2 paid clients :D
I will try to keep this service up for as long as Amik is up. It is really helping me, so I have no plans to stop this service.

Hey, thanks a lot! I couldn't fine an image host that lets me post a high quality picture (a bit over 200kb). THANKS! :D

Yeah,maybe after 2 weeks, the images are deleted.

I'll change it to this:
every image will be deleted at the end of each month.
How is that?

if your using only 5mb now, that shouldn't be a prob. A better if you get popular *which you will* idea might be to get a script that will auto-delete images which haven't been accessed for lets say 5-7 days.

I say this because if everyone actually used the service seriously, the same people would just come back after every month, reupload their img and leave little space for new users.

But it's your server and its still a nice offer either way.

I looked around for image hosting scripts. The cheapest I found was $49 and it looked very basic.
They all made it a way that users have to sginup and then they get a specific amount of space for images.

So did you buy that script? Not long ago, i searched for this kinda script before, they always are not perfect, features i mean.

I think you should use this rule on your image host:
images not used in one month are auto deleted. not this : after one month all images are deleted. Please , some use it for screenshots ,a and getting an file not found message isnt a nice pic.

I think it looks and feels better. And psd work now :)

awesome man . !! but the problem is file that uploaded are not longer to store on ther server . make it store able . its a gr8 services .

fixed it, the PayPal button kept changing the button's post method. So I made it a text link.

I liked the old script better. This one wont show the URL of the file , and when I click open file , i says file opened , but actualy , it didnt open

It opens in a new window.

if you go to download, it will give you the link, open just opens it in a new window

EDIT: Changed some stuff, now click on Get Link and you get the full URL to the image. Now I will be doing that for when you upload your file. It should be fully working in around 10 min.

the page gets too long when lots of people upload their images. How can I make it so that I link it to another page that just shows the list of files?
It gives me an error when I try to do it that way...
