For those of you Mac users out there who like to be on the bleeding edge of technology, and thus downloaded Mac OS X 10.2.8, I suggest you read the below article.

Fairly serious issue, and in fact the update has even been removed for retooling.

OS X has never been stable and that's why Mac shipped their systems with both OS 9.x (9.22 I believe) AND OS x

Uh-huh.
That is *not* the reason that they ship with 9 and X.
In case you didn't know, OS X is based on FreeBSD, thus making OS 9 applications incompatible with OS X, and vice versa.
OS 9 is included so you can run the 'emulator' and use OS 9 applications from within OS X.

That's what I meant.. we still use OS 9 because of all our software
