Please advise me about the following. I tried searching for the info but could not find precisely what I was looking for.
I need to host a small site, mostly text based, on a reliable server and need the following:
10 MB space
preferably 1 GB bandwidth or more
control panel ( some pages will be paid members only)
possibilty to password protect directories
NO ADS or pop ups
relaible
and thats about all!
Can someone point me to few hosts that provide this?

Web1000 does not have a control panel.
I used zerocosthosting and within 72 hours they deleted all free sites without any warning saying they will NOT offer free hsoting anymore.
With loosers like these what other alternatives do I have.
All I needed was no ads free host with jost 20 MB space, upto 5 gb bandwidth and a control panel to password protect pages.

Thats all? 5gbs of bandwidth is a bit much anyway... Free hosts cant offer that much, you shoudl consider looking at paid hosting options...

Hi tommc75
5 GB is the max but I guess even 1 GB will do easily.
It will be pure text on pages so I guess each page won't be more than few KBs.

Im sure since the files mostly will be text that even 500mb of bandwidth would do you fine, it also will be easier to find a host with 500mb bw.

Thanks folks.
I will try riasta.org
web1000 does not offer control panel although they do have a workaround for pass protection.
Freewebs is excellent but no control panel.
