I just registered a domain with GKG. Fine.

Then I wanted to transfer a domain that's now registered with RegisterClub. Turns out GKG needs me to send a form via snail mail or fax together with a scanned ID. I can do this, but it means some trouble (don't have access too needed equipment).

Sorry if this is stupid, but can I do this in an easier way from RegisterClub? My English isn't native. I usually get around but to tell the truth I don't get half of it at RegisterClub. I had a very bad experience of their support when I registered and am not too hot on mailing them now. So I would be grateful if anyone could give me a hint.

directnic.com has a full online transfer system if you want want to fax & stuff like that. Itz 15$ tho ... but as far as I used them , the customer help is very good.

Thanks, but I try to avoid the faxing /scanning part.

I can transfer the ownership of my domain to another person just by logging in to the account manager at RegisterClub. I was thinking that I could change registrar as easily. But I can't find the HowTo.

Or am I wrong? Does it always take scanned identity papers and a "real" signature for this? Sounds peculiar since I can do potentially more harmful things without it. :(

Sorry , my sentence was f*c*ed up , I mean directnic does NOT have that fax part.
You ask for a transfer , they will mail (whois e-mail) the persons who actually owns the domain. He will have to go to a secure webpage and type-in some codes (he received them in the mail directnic send him). And after he agreed with the terms&cond. (just a button "I agree" , NO fax----- and stuff like that) , the domain will be transfered within 10days.
I suppose some other companies offer this aswell , but I know enom-affiliated don't.
