The last time I checked, F2S wasn't on the database on Freewebspace.net, it should be though.
I find that F2S has awesome features for it's price ($0). It can be a little slow at times though.
The best way to know if a host is good or not is to try it out for yourself. You've got nothing to lose after all.
F2S is listed here http://www.freewebspace.net/php/view.php?id=459
You can review it now also.
I think it was removed at one time because it wasnt excepting any more users.

ye i think too for free all features its good.
you may find f2s on http://www.freedomlist.com/phod.php3?/Computers/Internet/Web_Design_and_Development/Hosting/Free/Personal/
Yuck--F2s' new servers are slower than molasses; who cares about all the features if it takes a 20K site to load in 5 minutes? (believe me, I had a site there and I am NOT exaggerating) If you register, you will be on one of the new servers not the old fast servers--My suggestion? Check out the support message board for f2s. Complaints, galore.

They have been up longer than some other hosts have so hopefully they will last. But then again think about NBCi...

No one would use a host that is that slow, and I'm sure many people here are using them. That 5 minute thing was probably because of a temporary error that has surely been fixed.

Hey, my wesbite is loads faster than ever! Thank you Coolin, if not for your reminder I would have forgotten about my site at f2s. It used to take ages to load but now it loads in seconds. :)
Mine loads in seconds too. Who ever said they were slow? ;) Of course, I'm on one of the older and faster servers, so....
I wonder if you have the same experience. I've read that some search engines limit the number of indexed sites from large hosts. I frequently get pages on Angelfire, Geocities and so on when I search for something, but hardly ever on f2s. Considering they give subdomains the sites should rate higher. Is it just me?

I have two sites on f2s and they both load very quickly when they do load which is about 95% of the time. Around 18:00h GMT they don't load at all. Well what do you expect when you get all the great extras and NO ADS

YAY! F2S stopped cache-ing my webpages! This is great :D
Actually, the five minute loading time lasted about 2 months.. (I kid you not) But they could have gotten their act together...But like I said, if you have been with them for awhile, more than likely you are on a fast server..if you have registered with them in the past 5-6 months or so, more than likely you will be on the famous slow "32" server. But it could be better now.
