wheres a nice easy free icon site

I'm after some icons for a project

I am fed up with pop-ups and crap navigation schemes that show you 5 ads for each icon :(

anyone know a nice easy to surf site with a good selection

I don't mind some ads but when they mean the site grinds to a holt what's the point of going there?

yes I should get admuncher or something but it kept crashing my browser
