Installing apache on windows 98

i want to install apache,php,and mysql on my parents computer to test out scripts offline. will it affect their dial up connection? also will there be any new screens when the computer is started up?

*if it was up to me i would unistall windows and install linux, but like i said it is not my computer.

Don't worry it wont screw up you dialup connection, as long as you configure it to work with your local ip 127.0.0.1. As far as windows at startup all you will see is a small DOS window that will only be up for 2 or 3 seconds other then that it is invisable.
