Few questions

Hey,

I've added google ads to my sites (http://dwcnetwork.com and http://geekvalley.com ) but the prices are very inconsistent per clicks.

Can anyone weigh in on why?

:) this has intrigued me too, I guess it depends which keywords are being picked up at the time of viewing. Some days I might get only 2 clicks and earn $3, other days I get 20 clicks and be lucky to earn a dollar. If we could know which pages the clicks were coming from, we could remove the ads from the non profitable pages :biggrin2:

Well I was actually reading the side for Advertisers on google, and apparently they bid on clicks.

I think it has to do with how much the adertiser bid. If only we could find that out! :callme:

I dont think you will ever be able to find out how much an advertiser will pay per click. Why? Well if you found out what advertisers paid 2c per click, wouldnt you just just enter their url into your filter so they dont get displayed on your site? In this case, all advertisers that pay low wont be displayed on site. It wouldnt be fair. However, i do wish there was a way to track what pages the clicks come from. I mean, if my main page generates all of the clicks, I can remove them from the rest my site.

There has got to be some way... (If someone was really good on java) to log if a user clicks on a certain section on the page.. as google won't let you touch their code.
