Just wondering, does GoDaddy support URL redirecting? I think I will get the 1 year domain for $8.95 US (don't know how much Canadian). What I want to do is once I get this domain, when you type my domain in your browser's location bar it should go right to my site (index page). BTW, I looked all over GoDaddy's site already but I didn't find much information.

URL Redirection from Godaddy.com is $9.95US per year. Domain registration where you can enter your own nameservers is $8.95. Maybe you could use services such as:

http://www.zoneedit.com
http://www.mydomain.com

Hope this helps :)

So, all you have to pay at MyDomain.com is a setup fee then you can immediately redirect your domain to your own homepage? How much is the setup fee? BTW, I think powerpipe.com is for business domains.

I never paid a setup fee to mydomain.com (and it works). Is there anything new?

Wow, MyDomain.com is free? How many domains are you allowed?

Wait a minute... MyDomain.com isn't free, you have to pay about $15 per year.

MyDomain.com is free.
The $15 a year is the fee if you want to register a domain through them, but you don't need it if you already registered through GoDaddy.com or another registrar.

And the number of domains you are allowed to manage at MyDomain.com is unlimited

I just like powerpipe 'cause u can change all info (MX mail , MXE mail , URL redict , URL frame , A (IP) , Email redict. , DNS) just like zoneedit , but without 200MB/year limit.
BUT : I still think itz very strange they offer all this ... is there any catch I missed ?

How can I sign-up an *existing* domain for free? Are you spamming?
