hi

I got ms-frontpage 2000, but its search+replace facility just lists the instances i'm looking for, but doesnt 'replace' them - until i double-click the first page occurance as listed, an even then i have to click a [replace] button as in a query!, but duhhh, if i DIDNT want to 'replace' - then why the fukk would i have selected search+replace from the pull-down menu!!!! [duhh]

An even then i just does it for one page!!!!
not all the rest it lists!!!
duhhh.

I have to then click [done] to close the doc an move on!
+ on on on thru many found files!!!!!

Is that what Mr gates calls automation? - ie continous user clicking!!!!!!!

God give me strength.!

So then - how do i replace ALL instances on ALL pages automatically????
Not the crap bill gates has me do.
ps- i cant afford dreamweaver etc :(

Although I use it myself, ditch frontpage :-)

There are a number of freeware text editors that have this function, I believe textpad is one of them.
