One thing I hate is re-uploading my website to an FWP once my previous FWP is dead. I have heard that site to site transfer is allowed on some websites, it's called FXP. But only one or two support it. Isn't there any other way to easily transfer files from one host to another?

If a host has a "site mover" feature, you could use that. But not many feature packed hosts have that feature. The only ones I know that have that are Crosswinds and Geocities...

I played around with FXP last summer. I don't remember which hosts, but fact is I transferred files between hosts you wouldn't think allow it. It's worth a try.
I have this URL to a site that lists some apps - haven't checked if it's still good. http://www.ultimatefxp.f2s.com/

Tripod is the only host I know that supports FXP. Netcabins supported it before it went down, but I don't know when it will be up again.

for as far as i know what FXP is, i think terrashare has it too (you can copy your site from somewhere else (geocities or so) to terrashare)
