using bit torrent with firewalls

i need to figure out how to just let bit torrent use one port, there is ----load of stuff i want to download but i hate leaving my firewall down for extended periods of time, any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Go in COnfiguration and select ports

Just open up your firewall for the range of ports it needs, it will speed up your downloads, gauranteed.
