I'm looking for a host, AGAIN! This time, I need CGI support (Perl 5.004 or whateva the latest version is, heh), SSI support, FTP access, relatively fast servers, and a lot of space (25+ megs). I don't mind banners, though user placeable would be nice:).

If you don't need sendmail... Prohosting. Of course it seems that nobody likes them.

You could try http://www.f2s.com or http://www.digitalrice.com or http://www.netfirms.com

I'm not sure if Netfirms has SSI though.

Netfirms does have SSI... 25 megs, Perl CGI, Sendmail... The only thing is... they have banners, and some pop-ups.

I heard that if you name a file .shtml, netfirms banner wont be displayed. Is that true?

I dunno about it, but sounds pretty stupid on their behalf if a little trick like that would work...

Well, I have an account on HyperMart, I got one before they asked for credit cards. Except, the guy who installs CGI scripts for my site would prefer not to use HyperMart...
