If someone knows another company that pays for searches you make (like epilot) can you also post it in here?

you're a little late if you're wanting to GPTS... Most companies died a few months ago, or they're paying crap. If you're really wanting to GPTS, i'd say your best bet is a foreign GPTS program really. I've heard Germany has some good ones...
from all the one's listed, i don't really know any.
UtopiAd pays very little, spedia.net is known to throw out people, epilot's paying next to nothing now (plus i had a lot of trouble getting their software to work right. It still don't work right). Desktopdollars pays next to nothing as well but my belgian friend seems to like it a lot. Dunno about paidforsurf or cashfiesta.

lol, Czar... you know you shouldn't be doing that. ;)
Here you go:
NetAds
A good summary of most affiliate programs, updated infrequently. Well worth a visit.

i already visited net-ads, and i have to say i didn't find what i was looking for (but still is a good site)
and how stupid this might sound, i found most stuff on the list using altavista :)
but thanks for the searchcompanies, i'm gonna check them out in a few hours.
Hmmm...Maybe I need to put in a bit more work. ;)
You'll still have to call on AltaVista or forums such as this to chase down those adult programs and get-paid-to-surf companies, since we don't cover those.
Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.

my bad. I thought dingeling was looking for search companies that paid users (like epilot) instead of webmasters (like searchbucks).
Unless epilot's gotten themselves a new ad-program...

not that you will actually listen to me czar but i think covering PTS companies would bring more visitors and more work but the more info on your pages the more visitors (especially with pages containing the links to the so called "free money")
but to hell with PTS, they don't fit into an webmaster resource page BUT when you have programs that pay you for the time that your referrals are online when you're NOT online that would make you some more money
anyway, i was indeed searching for companies that paid users instead of webmasters.
INFO ON EPILOT : not that anyone cares : if you subscribe to epilot you don't have to DL the bar, you can also make money from the website (if you search on the page itself).
this is very handy! if you make a list of searchterms that are acceptable (NOT : A,B,C,D,... but words like : affiliate programs,computer,...) you can make some fast money in a month!
in an hour i usually make 3$-6$ but that is if you concentrate that hour on searching (: you make a search every 15-30 seconds)
why does this work?
dunno, but i am using the company to search for information i need and i use correct searchterms + i don't use any cheatprograms
SO : they have to and already did pay me out :)

all the information is just for as far as i know so i don't know if it is really 100% exactly correct.
anyways, please correct me if i'm wrong

well, i made 529 searches with epilot (i only used it for 4 days or so this month, gonna start the fifth day now)
and for those 529 searches i got 15,87$.
16$ for 4days!! seems much to me (and i don't have any referrals,i just search!!!).
let's do some more math (rounding numbers down (ex.1,5=1))
15$ for 4 days
1 month contains 30 days
30/4 = 7,5 (becomes 7)
so in one month you can make 15*7=105$ (ROUNDED DOWN)
if you use my statistics then i should be able to make :
15,87*7,5= 119,025$
just the facts, but i think epilot is very handy, if no-one actually ABUSES it everyone should be able to make good profits from it (at least 50$/month)
anyway, i'm gonna go study again, just came in again to post this stupid thingy

not cheating? Searching for something every 15-30secs that you're not really looking for would be considered cheating. Which is basically why a lot of paid to search programs are loosing their sponsors...
Anyway, if you're wanting to waste an hour/day to make your $100, feel free to do so. I mean, $3-4/hr is below minimum wage, but if you think you're getting a good deal, be my guest...

who's gonna tell if i'm interested in the search i make?
100$ is always welcome in the bank of ME, so what's wrong with that?
if you include the money you make from referrals and other programs then it makes me a good - and that's for me, not for any of you rich kids- 400$/month!

How about the advertiser, whose money is being wasted every time someone like you comes along and makes random clicks just to earn a few extra dollars. This type of activity lowers the perceived value of visitors in the advertisers' minds, which in turn lowers the rates paid to legitimate publishers and users.
Anyway, it's not your fault. EPilot's dubious business model is virtually designed to attract this type of behaviour. I'm just hoping that advertisers won't set their rates based on what they are willing to spend for EPilot's low-converting incentivized traffic.

if i see something that interests me, i will click on the link to check out the site, i'm not a stupid cheater that just types words like cat, dog and stuff like that.
i search for stuff i'm interested in
anyway, czar's right, if epilot would be a bit smarter it would it would REQUIRE PEOPLE TO actually VISIT one of the RESULTS and SPEND QUALITY TIME THERE (checked with cookies and stuff).

stuff you're interested in huh. I bet you don't do one search to buy something. Oh well, like Czar said, it's basically EPilot's fault.
BTW, TotalE-mail has something like that, like you have to spend at least 20 secs there or something. Doesn't help at all though, you could just leave it there for 20 secs and then close it.
Incentivised clicks are pretty worthless in my opinion.

paysu has it too.
when you click on a banner in the paysubar you have to spend some quality time there (browse a bit around the site and stay there for a while) when you do that you get paid more, but the payrate still sucks and paysubar doesn't work anymore in belgium, only in the : UK,US,France,Germany.
anyway, i'm gone now
