would i be able to use a uni.cc domain with a free host that requires a domain?

Some hosts do, but not all.

could you name a reasonably good host that does?

10~mb space
500+mb transfer
php and mysql
no/text ads

is all i need. i dont think thats asking for too much.

Buildtolearn is always open to new members. :)

Unfortunately, we provide 200Mb transfer instead of the requested 500Mb. However, it is possible to get increase in transfer allocations by participating on our forums.

250mb space
2.5gb bandwidth

you must have a site already online though
