Slicing in Photoshop

I have a question, whenever I slice webpages in Photoshop, the slice tool always snaps to edges or lines, I hate this because sometimes I need to get as close as possible to a line without touching but it ends up touching anyway, is there anyway to stop this? As in, disabling a preference?

I think there is a option that says "snap to lines" in photoshop you can take off. Just search for that option.
