Hi, I have a website about get paid programs and related things. My question is, should I focus on making money from get paid referrals or banner impressions/pop up advertising?

Any webmaster with experience, I would love to hear your thoughts. At first, I was planning on getting my revenue from get paid companies and referrals from them. But now as I read more and more from this forum, I wonder if the money is in affiliates and pop-up typed strategies.

Thanks.

again : i don't know very much about this but i do know something cuz i read a lot about it on the net and forums.

for as far as i know the money is in pop-up ads, they pay you the most, but usually visitors have to click on something for the ad to pop-up (and the company won't allow you to auto pop-it-up) so impressions are also great (if you have a lot of visitors)

wiiiii :)

don't use popups if your target traffic is webmasters. I believe popups piss off webmasters more than anyone else... You could use a popunder though (just one doesn't seem to piss off people). Supplement that with some normal banners (if needed), mostly CPA banners paying you nicely. Like say that everyone.net affiliate thing, i heard it's $20CPA.

I agree... they tick me off and I probably wouldn't be back.
