buring mp3's...

hi, i noticed that sometimes when i'm buring mp3s into an audio cd using Adaptec Easy cd creator, on the layout sometime a mp3 will be 10:00 long but on the layout only about 30 seconds. is this a problem with mp3 file or a software problem? should i just download the mp3 again? any help is appreciated.

You could try RealJukebox to do this burning. I've never had any problem using them.

This problem happens once in a while when I use Adaptec CD creator. I don't know what causes it, I'm guessing it's something wrong with the program that was used to encode the mp3. It isn't just an error in reading the timer either. Once I tried to burn the song anyway, and it only burned 10 seconds of it.

The only way I've fixed it is to re-download the mp3. On a cable connection, that's not a big deal, but if you only have a dialup or something, you might look into getting another burning program
