So tonight I was in a food court at a local mall earlier today having a snack, after finishing I of course proceeded to throw the remains into the trash.

So I carry the tray over, and the trash bin opens on its own, which was a little weird.
So I proceeded to dump the garbage in, when the trash can says:
"I am full, I need to be cleaned"
Yes, that's right, the trash can spoke to me, no joke.

Now what the hell is up with that? What puirpose does an 'intelligent' waste receptical serve, like honestly?
Definately goes on my list of 'worst inventions ever'.

Yeah, I've seen those around. Apparently the people at malls don't have better things to spend their money on.


I love how it tells YOU that it's full and needs to be changed...like it's your job, or you should go tell somebody that works there...you know...because the can told you to do it.

That sounds really, really annoying. I haven't seen them, but I haven't been to the mall since last week...somehow I doubt they'll be there. Hopefully.

Some Taco Bells around here have them. Only they say "Thank you come again" when you push them.

They're deactivared for 30 seconds after it says it because I tried pushing it in five times in a row but it didn't work. :D

The voice is the annoying part.

Maybe you need to go find more trash to put in? :p I guess for people who get a kick out of it, it could help clean up the place until the novelty wore off. I wonder how many little old women/men have a heart attack when the garbage can speaks to them :whatthe:

You don't need to put trash in them for them to talk.

They are activated by moving the door on the front.

When someone tries to put trash in there, they should be shouted at. :biggrin2: The bin should scream "OH MY GOD, WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?!?!!?"
